I don't normally read fantasy, but this book kept my interest. Interesting characters who grow throughout the story. It's the first in a series. I'm looking forward to reading the rest.

Finished by the dim light of a clip on book light. Excellent ending with enough closure for satisfaction, but open ended enough for future books.
