This was a beautiful story that did not need 400+ pages to tell. It started out great and became a snooze fest towards the middle. I was forcing myself to finish the book. That being said, I would suggest checking it out because of the interesting concept, as there are not too many novels like this one that I have come across.

I forgot to post that I am reading Kindred. I used this book to fill the space on my bingo card for a book that scares me. I think time travel is a fascinating and frightening concept in literature. (Picture of my Kindle)

This book is an exceptional example of science fiction. It is beautifully written, the story itself is entertaining (a plus that it's a retelling of a certain 14th century collection of poems), and the characters come to life. I look forward to reading the entire series.

A beautiful story that will rip your heart to pieces. Based on the true story of Grace Marks, a young girl accused of murdering her employer. Please read if you are interested in mid-19th century society and mental health.

Amazing! I was fully enthralled. Gaiman retold these ancient stories perfectly.

I decided to start my book bingo card with a little bit of Gaiman. #TBRBingo

Interesting story of the Cold War. I enjoyed the main story of this book, but some parts were boring and hard to get through. I would suggest this book if you have a great interest in Cold War politics and diplomacy.

I haven't been on here in such a long time, so I had to clean up my Reading list haha.
