This was a sequel to Ayisha Malik‘s first book “Sofia Khan is not obliged” so I feel to get the full context of this book it would be ideal to read that first.. however it‘s nice reading a story that follows on and *spolier alert* ruins the happily ever after illusion the first book ended on

I watched the movie before I read the book *gasp* but felt both were good ... everyone should read this book at least once in their lifetime
