Despite the title, this isn‘t a book about a fat girl. This is a book about a woman who had her heart broken by a douche whom she let make her feel like less. So much less. She meets a good guy that she really likes and friend zones herself because she does not feel worthy. It is laugh out loud funny and totally relatable. What else do you need?

What I truly loved about this book was the author‘s ability to make you question what truly makes us human. Noemi is a loner not fitting in any world because she can‘t open up while Abel is the only one of his kind so is alone in his own way. But they find out what makes each other human because of what they see in each other. Whoever said ‘love isn‘t enough‘ is way too sour for me!

I am usually a straight romance, needs a happy ending, sigh love story kind of girl but this girl Claudia Gray has got me hooked on sci-fi! SCI-FI!!!! I hadn‘t even contemplated the multi verse before this book. But really the underlying theme that struck me and hung on was the thousand pieces of a soul. Would you love all of me if you saw all the bits I hid? Love the book!

To be sixteen again... it is a typical fake relationship turned real relationship teenage love story BUT it is so well written you don‘t care. I want my own Peter K!
