Not even 50 pages in and I‘m hooked. 😆
Not even 50 pages in and I‘m hooked. 😆
Starting a new book for my Tactical Tuesdays. So far, so good.
This book is a great blend between information and entertainment. I was sadly surprised when it came to an end. I‘d forgotten that as an audible version, it was only 6 hours.
A wonderful mostly unbiased insight into the issues we are having with youth today and mature ways to help us help them overcome the challenges they will face.

So far this has a funny and realistic self help book vibe. Surprisingly enjoyable so far

Okay…I‘m not going to lie. I‘m bleeping loving this book & I‘m considering buying copies for the young parents in my life. Kids today are indeed far to fragile and I‘m grateful for my father for showing me how to have a tuff skin so I can pass that along to my stepchildren.
Currently reading. I love reading stories from people who were vegan or vegetarian until they actually step on a farm and wake up to reality and reconnect to nature. But Nicolette has a unique perspective being a environmental lawyer. Really enjoying this experience.
An entertaining read but can be summed up simply as for every convenience we make, we lose a skill and distance ourselves from what we are and have always been.
What starts off coming off as a rant ends up being a desperate plea for things to change for our generation and the next.
Just a little over half way through and still surprisingly into this one. It started off feeling more like a rant, but now it‘s more of a plea with facts to back up his talking points.
Very intriguing read so far….
I love bringing this point to the discussions I have with my vegan acquaintances.
This actually makes sense when you dive deeper than the scope of this book, but still, a shocking revaluation that spits in the face of certain medications
Funny how this never gets mentioned when they talk about eating less meat….lol
We aren‘t eating nearly enough. But I get closer th this goal everyday
Think of the song “A whole new world” from the Disneyw movie, Aladdin, and that, in a nutshell, how I feel about this book. lol Definitely a pick and worth the read.
Kinda sad that this tidbit of history has to laid out for people to make a point, then again, it‘s more sad that people don‘t know their history and can think for themselves anymore.
Who knew that the topic of soil could be so engaging!
Excited to jump into this book.
I‘d go into details, but honestly, it‘s bleeping Joel Salatin! So it‘s a no brainer to give him a try.
Interesting read because you‘re supposed to just read one devotional page here and there and I‘m not very religious. But a few pages definitely stuck with me and I would definitely want to recommend it. The author actually gave me this book out of the blue and honestly I was going to keep it, but ended up giving to a friend going through some hard times. My friend ended up ordering a copy to send to her sister. It‘s a gift that keeps giving!
That awesome moment when a local author gives you a copy of their first published book. I‘m not very religious but found a few spots in this that I really spoke to me.
I wonder how much crap would be passed as fact if we all did our own research 🧐
A wonderfully insightful book the healing power of meat. I went with the audible version because it was narrated by the author. Ended up enjoying the book 3 times already.
A Great and engaging read! Couldn‘t put it down and didn‘t want it to end. lol
This is a pretty good “drop the mic” moment. 🎤
There is a lot of information being thrown at you when you read this. But it‘s very enjoyable
“Industrial mono-cropping, though it can temporarily feed a lot of people some cheap calories, is a horror show to nature.”

“Sacred Cow: an idea, custom, or institution held, especially unreasonably, to be above criticism.”
