Got more books even though I don‘t have book money and now my TBR is even longer but it‘s worth it.

I also finally got the 20th anniversary Harry Potter Ravenclaw book which I‘ve wanted forever. Now, I wait for the Chamber of secrets.

Starting this book today and I‘m very excited. I‘ve heard really good things about this book and the fact that it‘s a movie makes better.

Once I‘ve finished this one then I‘ll be halfway through my TBR for July which is awesome. I have so many books that I want to buy by the end of the month that I‘m getting stressed over which ones to choose.

Starry Eyes | Jenn Bennett

Pickpick

If you love a sappy romance novel that has a happy ending, like me then you‘ll definitely love this one - Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennet.

I‘ve officially read every book by Jenn Bennet and loved each of them so much. She really knows how to make a person nostalgic for something they‘ve never experienced.

Also, is it normal to have a crush on a fictional character?

I‘ve put Sunflowers in February on hold (again), I just can‘t seem to get into but I‘m still not going to give up (just yet).

Currently reading Starry Eyes with a hot (emphasis on the hot) cup of coffee while sitting outside again in the freezing cold. I‘m 3 chapters in and I‘m already obsessed with the book. *Spoiler Alert* the main character loves Astronomy which makes my heart swell since I do too.

A small bookmark collection. Anyone else collect bookmarks?

I couldn‘t resist not buying them. I had studied art in high school and really fell in love with it. These bookmarks make me honestly so happy and these are my favourite impressionist painters. Van Gogh is ultimately my favourite and I have a lot of his artworks stuck on my wall (prints of course).

Fudgezilla Ahh. I love bookmarks. And I buy one whenever I like one. Problems start with my books :( I read only on my papetwhite. I love the smell and feel of a physical book. But I am an ebook person, can't help it. So all my bookmarks end up being gifted to all other bookworms. 6y
Picasso @Fudgezilla I completely understand that. I tried having kindle at one point but I couldn‘t not have a physical book. Im glad you still love bookmarks though 6y

Mehso-so

I started with Lyra‘s story and I contemplated bailing on the book once it was finished. However, I powered through it and things started picking up again once Gemma told her story. It did give me a scare in some chapters which was kind of unexpected.

The ending was presumed but the storyline was unique. I love the idea of two stories in one and that I had to flip it. I wouldn‘t bail on the book completely.

Currently sitting outside in 5 degree weather (Celsius) with a hot cup of cocoa and nearing the end of this book.

One might ask why I‘m sitting outside in the cold but my answer is very simple, you see, I have three puppies (3 months) that love being outside but are always plotting on how to escape so I must watch. But fear not, I have a blanket wrapped around me while I sit in the sun.

I'll Give You the Sun | Jandy Nelson

Not to be dramatic or anything but this book truly changed my entire world. I‘ve always recommended to people who ask and those that don‘t. It will be in my top 10 until the day I die.

The way Jandy Nelson describes things in this book makes me wish I lived in a world through her eyes. I forever worshipped this woman and this book. Forever my favourite.

Thought I‘d share my TBR for July.

Had to make a rule with myself to read a certain amount of books in a month and then I can buy one book. I have so many unread books that it‘s becoming a problem.

However, starting with #Replica by #LaurenOliver. I‘ve already started #SunflowersinFebruary but I couldn‘t get into it. I‘m determined to finish it though. Never leave a book unread

This is my second time finishing this book because I just couldn‘t get enough of Simon Snow. I‘ve never reread a book but when Rainbow Rowell blessed is with a sequel (in 2020) I couldn‘t help but pick it up again and relive the World of Mages.

My love for both Simon Snow and Basilton Grimm-Pitch came rushing back after the first chapter. I can‘t help but have a sense of loss once I close the book for the second time. It will end in flames.
