My husband gets me. Lol. In my pursuit of more distance races, I have a new motivation.

This is an excellent prequel to the Maggie O‘Dell series. If you‘ve never read the series, start here and then hold on for a fantastic ride through the rest of the ongoing series.
Last weekend I went to a Rotary book sale. Found this book and bought it for my husband. I didn‘t look at it any closer than to grab the copy with the cleanest dust jacket. Got it home and we discovered it was both autographed and had the COA inside! Not a bad find for a buck!!
So excited to get my autographed copy of Strange Weather in the mail this week!
So far this is turning into a great way to keep occupied during a slow day at the office. 😊
So excited to start this one. I've met the author a few times and she's one of those awesome people who manages to remember you even if it's been a year. She actually engages with her fans. It's so lovely to meet someone you're a fan of and have them turn out to be nice. The series this is a prequel to is a must read (as is her second series for that matter) Her characters are fantastic and the stories really pull you in.
Can someone tell me how we were notified if we were matched in #litsypenpals? I know I signed up but I haven't seen any notifications or emails...🙁
Leave me unchaperoned in a bookstore &I look what happens. A talking miniature #WonderWoman might have come home with me too. Lol
I think this applies regardless of your faith journey.
I rarely get to be the first of my group to read a book. I had so loved Girl on the Train, and had high hopes for this one. I really enjoyed it and think it's a solid sophomore effort.
If I have to be stuck at a dead office on a rainy day, at least I have good company.
Three times in the last month I have shocked someone when I mentioned I've never read any Tolkien. So today I decided to do something about it. Starting The Hobbit tonight.
Today I met these three authors. My to be read stack is never going to get any shorter if I keep putting new ones on top! Alex Kava-Reckless Creed, Liz Kay- Monsters A Love Story, and Fantasticland-Mike Bockoven.
I've met this author a few times now and she's fantastic. Gets to know her fans almost as well as she researches her subject matter. She has two ongoing series, this is the third in the second series. Love, love, love her books!
I'm about a quarter of the way into this one..admittedly I think it's my confusion that's keeping me going.
This is a deliciously twisted must read for horror fans!
Loved this book. It kept me very engaged and I couldn't put it down. There were enough twists to keep me surprised. Highly recommend!!
I started thus yesterday and already can't put it down. So far so good. 👍
A little light reading at the office today. Lol
