I really liked the way the author wrote this book and series, her choice of words are so well put and descriptive. Even the way she sets the scene makes it feel as if I were there myself. The way she expresses Adelina's emotions explains why she can be very stubborn or frustrating, since she continuously struggles throughout the series, even if she achieved her goal.

Fiction: I enjoyed reading this book, although near the ending it was difficult to understand the situation since it harder to know when it's transitioning from Adelina's powers to reality since she can create illusions. However, while reading more into it, I was able to understand the situation.

Fiction: In the beginning, the main character Adelina Amouteru, struggled with her powers and letting her fears taking control. However, throughout the book she manages to take advantage of it and uses it to protect her and the people she loves. It teaches a story on life by being brave by turning your weaknesses into your strength. And showing that we shouldn't take our weaknesses take advantage of us.

Everything reflects on their rating to the students at Maplethorpe Academy. The system is updated continuously and anyone can see it. Bex, Tamsin, Noah, Hana, and Chase set off a chain reaction when they do an act of vandalism on the front doors and they're forced to face an unfair reality.

I choose this book because It talks about a school that works on an order, and that order works on the rating system which is the symbol of organized social life. The bigger the rating is the more valued you are. The lower it is the harder you must work to improve your rating.

I choose this book because it talks about Liv the main character who feels that he was born a girl but is born as a guy.
But the bigger problem is that he's forced to wear this skirt as his uniform in his new school, and he's very uncomfortable wearing a skirt. But Liv is on a mission, and with the help of another friend he can change the principal's mind and maybe the whole school.

How did you find this book : I got this book around last year at a book fair and it interested me because the setting was based on the nazi war and the main character Lucie Blaise, wanted to get revenge for killing her brother.
