Hello! I saw some were posting #friyayintro and I thought it would be fun to participate...

1. So hard but I love pie
2. Yes, always. But no frosting
3. A few. I get no sympathy from cops. My first was when I was 16 and I was so scared about telling my dad I was crying before the cop made it to my car and could barely talk. He was not happy and seemed super annoyed at me.
4. Yes/yes/yes it depends on what I feel like and who is with me

CoffeeNBooks I agree- frosting doesn't belong on brownies! 6y
Thecoffeeqween Exactly! It‘s not cake! 6y

I loved loved loved this book. I downloaded it through kindle unlimited but listened to it through audible. I like a story where the female lead cop is intelligent, tough, take nothing from no one and Angie Pallorino is just that woman. She is also behind the scenes a hot mess because let‘s face it, to work sex crimes, to deal with that ugliness, has to mess with your head a little bit. This story has it all, mystery/suspense/romance. It is book 1

Pickpick

12/125 The Good Widow was pretty straightforward until the end. Peeling back the layers and telling the story from present to past, switching seamlessly. I never felt lost or like I didn‘t understand whose perspective the story was coming from. I had forgotten that this was supposed to be a thriller. I wanted to know the story and the why behind the what but it wasn‘t until the end where the story gets dark. Dark in a good way, a believable way.

I just finished listening to this book this past weekend. I have seen everyone in Instagram saying it‘s a cute read.... and that‘s the exact word I would use, cute. Not in a bad way at all. It‘s the unromantic romantic fairy tale. It‘s a quick listen so I would imagine quick read that was the perfect palate cleanser in between all my murdery books!

Pickpick

I picked this on kindle unlimited on a whim... I needed a new audiobook at work. I love books where each chapter switches from a different characters perspective. This book not only did that but it switched from past to present seamlessly. The story developed in a way that kept me interested and wanting to know the end so badly but when I got there I kept pausing because I wanted to savor it.

Is it me or does reading an actual book versus an Ebook on your kindle take longer? I swear I killed it in January and I'm still reading the same book I started in February! Any other James Patterson junkies out there? I am really liking the sarcasm of detective Harry Blue in this series..

RaimeyGallant Sometimes it takes me longer too. :) And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. It's the link in my bio on my page in case you need it. Or if you prefer how-to videos, @chelleo put some together at the link in her bio. 6y
