This was the first book I‘ve read by this author. I enjoy books that center around food so much. I have another in my to reads called The Simplicity if Cider as well. This book has a unique story...got a little slow in the middle...but finished strong. A rather predictable ending, but had a few charming twists as well. A light read. Good for vacationing.

This book is worth a read! Received it among many as Christmas gifts (thanks husband) and I loved it! I read a few of the Anne of Green Gables as a young girl, but this book makes me want to revisit and read them from the perspective of Marilla-and as a mother myself. Please give this a try-a fast read, but very good.
