I can't tell you all enough about how much I loved this whole series. Japanese mythology set in today's Japan means you get to learn tons about the old and the new. I loved every minute of it.

TayTayTracyHarrison We choose this book for book club and I am so glad we did. A fun and interesting read. Enjoyed the multicultural aspect very much. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series and where the story goes. 8y

This was one of the best books I read last year. I really wish there was a sequel but it was still amazing. I'm really looking forward to reading some of her other graphic novels.

bibliobliss I've heard great things 8y

I hate rating any Kelley Armstrong book under 5 stars but this was only a 4 for me. It was still incredible and I loved it, it just wasn't my typical book of choice. It's a great ya thriller since we don't see many around and I loved the whole idea of the book though the ending was a tad predictable

Not a bad book but the hype surrounding it killed it for me. It wasn't as good as everyone was saying it was so I ended up a little disappointed. It just felt like it was nothing we haven't seen before. I'd still recommend it though and I'll eventually finish the series, I'm just not in any hurry.

LisaMakeWords All my bookish friends have been raving about this book too. 8y

Loved this book! The art was gorgeous and the storing telling was interesting. I loved that the morals of this story were a big part of the plot and the ending was much more sad than I would have predicted. Definitely an excellent book to read especially around Halloween.

Dispute that horrible cliff hanger I loved this book and can tell it's going to be a great series. The characters are all really loveable while still being different from each other. The plot was fun and fast paced while still making you nervous knowing that someone will die. Can't wait for book 3!

I actually enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would and ended up giving it five stars because it hooked me in and wouldn't let me go. I've already bought the next book because it's a great series for binge reading. Love the action and the characters!

My read on this lovely Easter Day. I have mixed feelings so far. What is everyone else reading?

Ubergeekygirl Everyone seems to be reading this! I'll be finishing up The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa. 8y
bftreviews @Ubergeekygirl I was iffy about starting it because I think I'm getting tired of the author using the same world and characters all the time. We'll see how it goes! I hope you love The Iron Queen :) 8y

A good start to a series with lots of potential. I love some characters and hate others so far but there seems to be a lot of development with them. The plot was pretty fast paced but a little slow at the start. Not a 5 star read for me but I'm interested in the series for sure.

What a wonderful book! I regret not familiarizing myself with the original fairy tale because I was a bit confused in the beginning but it hooked me in quickly. I loved the characters, romance, and plot! Everything was incredible and amazing!

LisaMakeWords I just finished this one too. It's so wonderful. 8y
