The first time I read this book, I remembered liking it. This time around, I liked it much less. I didn‘t love the characters and I wasn‘t amused by many of these choices and sometimes I was more confused about why the chose a specific action rather than another. I just couldn‘t really enjoy it and instead found myself annoyed. Sadly I will not be continuing with this series.

This one kind of disappointed me. I had high hopes after reading the synopsis, it sounded so good. Right up my alley. Unfortunately, it fell kind of flat for me.
I found Princess Cleo to be quite immature and childish. To be honest, she annoyed me, a lot. I didn't love any of the characters much, really. I just didn't connect with them. I'll give the 2nd book a try, though. Hopefully I'll enjoy it more than I did the 1st.

Good beginning to this fantasy series. Three kingdoms, two plot to invade and take over one. Young people suck in the crosshairs of adult families members and they don‘t like it. Death, magic, a little romance. I will read the next one.

Trying to keep up my black belt habits, this mornings audio run/walk. Sticky morning in SE PA. Has anyone read this series? Interesting so far.

This book had been on my TBR for ages and I finally decided to pick it up. I am not disappointed, it was a fabulous read! The world, the characters, the magic system.. everything was really great. The writing was easy to follow but not too simple, I liked it. I already ordered the next book in the series and I can't wait to discover more about this fantastic world.

Not even halfway through this book but it is so good already ! 📖

I‘m so sad I had to DNF this! I understand why some people would love this but I just didn‘t think it was my type of book, which sucks because I LOVE fantasy!

Tough book to review. Good story, great premise, interesting ideas, but poor execution. Pacing is off, writing falls flat, characters are one-dimensional, dialogue is reminiscent of a soap opera.
BUT... there is a hint, a spark of something special, that makes me hope for more — it definitely has ton of potential! I will likely grab the next installment and cross my fingers, but this one is just ok.

I started this before my vacation be put it down for a Circe buddy-read. I picked it back up today, and I‘m really enjoying it! I think it might be getting me out of my book slump. I wish I could stay home and read this ALL day.

I really want to like this book because it does have good bones but the story just fell extra flat for me. It was just a big meh. It would go really high and stay there, not coming back down for a while and then when it would come back down it was a drop and it would stay there at the low points for far too long. I‘m going to start the second with my fingers crossed that the world building will end and the great story will start.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Falling Kingdoms" packs a serious punch in the feels. This series has a similarity to the Game of Thrones series and is filled with violence, blood, lust, death, adventure, royalty, and magic. This book follows the adventures of 4 people: Princess Cleo of Auranos, Jonah (rebel from Paelsia), and Prince Magnus and Princess Lucia of Limeros. The world building in this book is fantastic and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This book was absolutely outstanding! The best I've read after reading The Throne of Glass and ACOTAR series.
I like the drama and the politics matters. It made the book so much more interesting. The world building is absolutely amazing! We have learn so much of each country and I hope to learn more.

Currently reading Falling Kingdoms. I love it so far! I also wanted to share this little questionnaire I answered. 😀

My Winter Olympics while venturing out ‘cause my Yuri On Ice DVDs are in.

Gonna hook up a new Blu Ray player and cook some dinner. But still gotta get that reading time in.

This book is okay. It was pretty standard YA and I kind of just wanted to skim the last 50 pages because I was bored. I might give the next book a try to see what happens with the characters and to see if the story gets interesting.

4.5 stars.

The blurb said that it's like YA version of Game of Thrones. I don't watch the show but this book is amazingggg I regret not reading it sooner as it had been on my TBR pile for years now. Woops.

Another book that i can tell is very much about introductions. Overall enjoyed it and have continued with the series
Pros - I liked most characters and wanted to see more of them, characters unpredictable, the various kingdoms and their differences
Cons- main heroine is annoying, a lot of moving parts, a little of a Game of thrones rip off, plot predictable
Contains: multiple POV, magic, death, fantasy elements, romance

I finally finished book one Falling Kingdoms. For me the book was okay. It was a quick read and has an interesting story. There were a lot of things in the story which felt rushed and so far I'm not feeling a lot of connection to any of the characters (yet). I feel some of the characters have potential and maybe the multiple POV's in this story took away from some of that development. I am still going to continue with the story!

I've heard it's like GOT and so far yes it is, not sure i like that but it's a long series and I've heard good things.

I really enjoyed reading Falling Kingdoms! It has a somewhat slow start, but I find this to be necessary to introduce fantasy worlds properly. I liked the different perspectives and tho I felt some characters still felt a bit vague, I was really intrigued by the whole premise of this fantasy novel & look forward to the sequel now.

Coffee and Doughnuts really are the perfect combination 🤤. And the perfect start to your reading day 😁.

🔹I absolutely hate prologues I always skip them and I have no idea why
🔹I'm a bathtub reader. It is so relaxing and no one can interrupt my reading
🔹It's hard for me to read more than 📕
🔹I HATE when there are people on the cover
🔹I always think that fictional characters should have real problems like going to the bathroom or periods. It just makes them more relatable.

Even though I have only read the first one, I know this is going to be a series that I love so much.
