If you're into reading historical romance and speaking German I highly recommend trying some books from #egmontlyx. I already read about 20 books from them and I loved nearly all of them.

As you might remember I did not love "Duchess In Love" by Eloisa James. But I definitely want to give another book of her a try and a lot of people suggested trying this book of the Fairy Tale series. So here's my next read ?.

Q: What's your favorite book of the Mortal Instruments series?

Let me share a secret with you: I read the first three books of the Mortal Instruments series when I was 18 years old and I always claimed it to be my favorite books of all times. BUT I never completed the series - I liked the ending of the third book.

Now that I want to read Lady of Midnight I probably have to finish the series. I hope to finish it before I meet Cassandra this year

So another one of my most favorite reads this year was the 'Anna and the French Kiss' series by Stephanie Perkins. I loved the first book and enjoyed the second and third book too. It's a quick romantic read and I loved the whole setting of the books and the characters were really amazing. I highly recommend this series to everyone who loves YA love stories or wants to try YA love stories for the first time.

I finished my third re-read of City Of Glass and I'm still in love with it. It's never been my favorite book of the series (CoA is my all time favorite) but I always love the Alec/Magnus and Jace/Clary scenes. I can't wait to read the remaining three books of the series - can't believe that I still not finished it. I didn't want it to end and I'm still not ready for it 😕.

Eleanor & Park was a huge surprise for me. After I read 'Fangirl' I didn't think I would like this book but I really enjoyed it! I liked both point of views, the problems both characters were struggling with and the whole writing. I could understand Eleanor's feelings for Park so much - Park is the kind of boy I would have fallen for when I was 16. I think I will give her other books a try too.

I still need to read the last three books of the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. I enjoyed the first and third book and loved the second one. I hope I will also love the fourth book again and at least enjoy the other two books.

I'm having holiday right now and it's been such an incredible warm and sunny day. Now a thunderstorm is coming and I have to stay in the dark as I'm always closing all the windows and blinds and don't use any electronic devices because something might get damaged 😕. Anxious me!

German Version of "Duchess In Love".

This is my least favorite historical romance book of all I've read so far. It's full of annoying characters, the story is boring and predictable, the end ridiculous. If you're interested in historical romance I would recommend the books by Cecilia Grant and Joana Bourne.
