#BookBracket My graphic novel choice for February was the Mortal Instruments Series. I have read the books a few times through but thought Id give the graphic novels a try. I really liked the faster pace and the illustrations were really nice.

Well this #chunkster was a fun read. The complete trilogy in manga format. I loved seeing the artwork bring the story to life.
The comfort reading of series l haven‘t read in years continues 😂 got my favorite little lady for company 💕

I do like this series! Not my favorite book if it but still good with beautiful descriptions, epic battle scenes, and intriguing characters.
I forgot how much I loved this first visit to Alicante, even if it does introduce (ugh) Sebastian. The squad is finally becoming the squad! #yafantasy #reread
Just finished the 3rd installment of The Mortal Instruments and WOW! This one was action packed!! So many things happen in this one! Cassie tied up all the loose ends and it was a great ending to the first trilogy! I decided to read in the order of publication date so my next read in the Shadowhunters‘ world is Clockwork Angel. I love historical fiction, so I‘m so excited for it!
I still like this series but after re-reading this one I am reminded that I stopped here because of the juvenile wyning
Jace and Clary travel to Alicante and go up against #Valentine who‘s like their constant nemesis. #ithadtobeyou
4/5⭐
Another great book in The Mortal Instruments series!
I struggled a bit more through this one, not sure why. But the last 100 pages really made the story for me!
So excited to start The Infernal Devices! I really enjoy older time periods
Favourite one in the series so far, lots of action and adventure. Read it 😝 📖
This book wasn‘t nearly as satisfying as the first two but it did have its moments. I don‘t tend to like stories where everyone keeps secrets from one other to protect each other, all the while hurting each other‘s feelings instead of telling the truth. It just muddies the waters for me, and so I begin to lose interest. With that being said; I loved visiting the glass city! I also loved this book as an ending! Why did she move on from this book?
I loved this book almost as much as I remembered! But once again, I notice just how annoying Clary is... I don‘t understand her really and most times reminds me of a whiny little girl instead of a shadow hunter.
The cold snap of the previous week was over; the sun was shining brightly as Clary hurried across Luke‘s dusty front yard, the hood of her jacket up to keep her hair from blowing across her face.

Book Three, finally starting to get to the action, I still don't understand why everyone loves these books.
I can‘t anymore. I just can‘t. I hate all of these characters so bad. (If I had to like any it would be Alec) the storytelling is just so painful and the dialogue is just bad. I won‘t be reading anymore of this series. I‘ll finish up the Infernal Devices series since I like that one, but afterwards I will be done with this Shadowhunter world, I just don‘t like it.
Unfortunately this one was a big ol yikes. I was so frustrated reading this, especially because I was expecting the quality to keep slowly going up. https://amysbookreviews.com/2020/06/07/i-got-bored-and-decided-to-binge-the-enti...
The Shadowhunters are gathering as Valentine prepares his army. He plans to eradicate anyone who doesn't pledge loyalty to him. The overall tone of The Mortal Instruments is dark, but there are no pulled punches as Valentine cuts his way through Shadowhunters to attain his goal. I was just as glued to the pages as I was with my first read through. #youngadult #fantasy

“I‘d say it was a pleasure to meet you all, but it wasnt. Not that you aren‘t all fairly charming. But as for you... Call me.” I had been waiting for that the whole book.
After defeating Valentine Clary starts packing for her trip to Idris, the Shadowhunter home country. Jace doesn‘t want Clary to go because he dreads the thought of something happening to her. Jace decides to ask Simon to try and persuade her into not going but it doesn‘t work. While they are in Idris Valentine shows up declaring war against the Clave. Valentine has all the Mortal Instruments now. How will he use them? And against what?
YES! Ok I‘m officially obsessed with this series. I don‘t know what it is about it but I‘ve just downloaded the last few books in this series. The world building is amazing and the characters are engaging. What more could you ask for?
In the 3rd book of The Mortal Instruments series The City of Glass which could also be titled Guess Who Jace's Daddy Is, we head to the city of the Shadowhunters where its always safe and secure. At least it was until the demons attack and Valentine threatens everyone.
This book wrapped up a little too neatly for being the #MiddleofASeries I can't waite to see what happens in the next three.

I loved my #reread of this book! I had forgotten a whole lot about it which probably made it even better. This is probably my favourite book in the original Mortal Instruments trilogy, there‘s so much good character and plot stuff going on. Can‘t wait to hop into the next one! #shadowhunterchronicles
“people aren't born good or bad. maybe they're born with tendencies either way, but its the way you live your life that matters.“
There were so many things I wasn‘t expecting to occur and those twists in the world kept me wanting to read more!
I enjoyed spending my Saturday curled up with a hood book and my sweet dog. How was your Saturday? #mortalinstrents #cozy #sayurday
I‘ve read the first couple of books in this series a couple times... now I‘m going to actually finish this series. 😂 I loved this series as a teen and I still enjoy it but certainly not as much now as an adult. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
I‘m behind on my book reviews 🙃 but this book is my favorite so far in the series which is rare for me since the first book in a series is usually my favorite. It gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 from me 😊
I‘ve finished reread this book or rather I‘ve finished listening to the audiobook. It‘s great. And tbh, either you hate this series or you like it. Cos there‘re some topics that might disgust some readers. If you know what I mean. But somehow... I enjoy this book. 🤓 #audiobook #paranormalromance
I've decided to re-read the first three books ofThe Mortal Instruments, after reading and LOVING The Infernal Devices.
In all honesty I can't remember this book at all.
I'm starting to wonder if I only read until I knew about Jace and Clary and then just stoped...
Becuase this was good!
It had that gripping "Clare" quality to it that I came to know and love in The Infernal Devices.
Review continue ?
I've had several people tell me to read the series. I was told there is a natural break between books 3 and 4 so I opted to stop after 3.
I never started liking the MC, Clary.
I LOVED Luke though. I would read an entire series of just his story.
The books read really quick, even though they're fat. I finished each within a day or two. The world was very in depth and interesting and I loved all the different beings.
