I love this quote about homesickness. This is exactly how I have been feeling lately.

Wanted to love it but found it so hard to get through. Good writing and the concept of the story is great, but felt a bit too simple.

Beautiful beautiful book!! The story reminded me a little of The Night Circus (readers of both will know what I mean!) but oh the backdrop of old world Russia was just glorious. And I am 100% Team Nikolai

Gissy So Night Circus is good? I have my doubts to read it. 7y

Ok so the romance is a little insta-love but considering this is only a duology that's a little expected. I wish there was more storytelling (if you read it you'll know what I mean) but I really enjoyed this. So much so that I finished it in two days!

The great adventure, in a video game, in the not too distant future. Everything feels very believable in the world Cline has created. There's never a dull moment in OASIS and it's definitely a world I can imagine our world becoming one day. Really enjoyable.

CaitlinCasillas This book amazed me! What a great and fun treasure hunt! 8y
bookstash @CaitlinCasillas Exactly! But also so believable. I can totally imagine it happening in 5 years time. 8y

I freaking loved Flawed! There's a whole host of characters I didn't particularly care for but the main protagonist does all the things they should in a good book in my opinion. So excited to see where this goes next!

Hunger Games in space! The premise of the story is a bit played out now but I know I'm late to the party on this series. Still a beautifully written book with a great cast of characters.

This has all the makings of a great story but I wanted more! More character development, more world building, more adventure and story. I feel like it skipped over a lot and Joya deserves more than that!

Quick, pacy and boring. We spend more time in the hated haram at the beginning that messed art and everything goes downhill from that. The female protagonist is so uninspiring. Wanted so much to love it but sadly disappointed.

A wonderful coming of age story. Set in the not to distant future and incredibly relatable relationships and friendships. Really lovely book.

Ugh. That's about as good as I get on how to describe how I feel about Magonia. I wanted so much to love it. And I did love bits of it. But the world building wasn't really built. I felt nothing for the characters. Good sometimes but not consistent.

Broke my heart and I'm glad for it. Beautifully written. I now can't help but remember the girl I was friends with around 12/13 who would dare me into doing things I didn't want to and I hope she is ok.

Incredible. I love how the world of the circus draws you in. The story itself is beautifully written.
