♥️
Our favourite grim reaper is back! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I hadn‘t planned on pursuing the series more but I sort of loved this one. I‘ll definitely have to continue (also, Charlotte‘s dad is an asshole) #scarathlon2023 #scarathlon #mischiefandmayhem
Currently enjoying Second Grave On the Left audiobook and hoping to finish it this weekend!

With a mystery to solve that hits a little closer to home and the race to get the smoking hot Son of Satan before anyone else this second installment is more fun than the first.

Also grabbed the tagged book from the library. Charley Davidson 2 for #seriesread2022
#bookspin was National Velvet which was very good, but not quite as horsey as I expected. Loved the Brown family though.

Nine books that are the #SecondBookInASeries from some of my favorite series past & present. (Including the one I am currently reading in the bottom right corner.)
I've read a lot of hours week 3 of #Scarathlon2021 #TeamSlaughter but no books finished yet. Part of the reason is staying too long with books that aren't catching my full attention, like the tagged book.
Goal for #20in4 is now finish 2 books 😊
Looking ahead...is Black House the next #LosersClub book @Mynameisacolour ?
Make a great day everyone🎃

5/5 for the second in this series! I‘m really enjoying this series. I just love Charley and Cookie! I cannot wait to see what happens next. I definitely recommend this!
Charley is freaking hilarious. I‘m loving this series so far. There‘s so much going on in this book and all the ghosts and mysteries make for a fun story.
Charley is a PI who just happens to be the grim reaper—she helps souls pass on. Here she is looking for a missing woman who has numerous friends who recently died mysteriously and may be the next target. I would typically run screaming from something labeled as paranormal romance, but this was fun and not heavy on the romance. A great line: “If it has tires or testicles, it‘s gonna give you trouble.”
Starting the second book In the Charley Davidson series and Exploring one of my newly discovered favorite blends of light roast coffee, coconut macaroon. (I may have drank the entire French press in a matter of hours *coughs*)
Moving forward with this fun series full of out of this world characters.
S - Second Grave on the Left - Darynda Jones
H - Half Past - Victoria Helen Stone
A - Abandon - Meg Cabot
N - Naughty Neighbor - Janet Evanovich
N - New Moon - Stephanie Meyer
O - Once Burned - Gena Showalter
N - No Rest for the Wicked - Kresley Cole
My name has too many n‘s 😂

Fun supernatural mystery; a nice break from the denser historical mysteries and classics I have been reading
Just finished Hidden Figures and now this is calling to me. I should really stick to books that tick off a #readharder box though...
I read the first book in this series last year and I've recently been thinking that I just want to binge read something. I think this has at least 11 books in this series so far. And it has a grim reaper, the son of the devil, ghost, mystery, and a little romance.

#bookishday #bookhaul #librarystack #readingoutsidecomfortzone On vacation for a week. Spent morning at UConn bookstore having coffee & reading. Of course bought two books. Next Library returns so picked up more books. Read on my porch. Temp hit 80's- unbelievable! Actually got a fan out... should be back to 50's tomorrow.
Heard of this series on Litsy so trying it out- demons& supernatural- new to me!
Saddle up, friends, for I am sailing through this series. It's total fluff but fun if you like paranormal mystery/romance type stuff. Charley is a charming, funny character. I find the main love interest fairly one-dimensional and some of the things about Charley that are designed to make her likable (like her love of coffee) rather overdone, but all in all, this is a fun series for distraction and escape from reality.
I'm reading some candy.
I've completed The Second Grave On The Left and second book in this series and I'm addicted. Loved it & want this entire series on my shelves asap! Another great series to invest in!
I've been putting this series off for too long. Loved the first book.
Can't help it, love this series and love all the sayings at the beginning of each chapter including this one that made me laugh out loud. My Mom, not so much. 😉
I have literally laughed out loud multiple times while reading. No grumpy moods allowed when you're spending time with master of sarcasm, PI Charley Davidson #teamswopes
Is this the deepest book? No, no it isn't. But it is the perfect book for the beach. Sharp dialog, funny writing, and great characters this book will have you laughing all the way through.
