AAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Edel didn't send me a mail about this one, so it was such a surprise!
I took a trip down the streets of Delhi's second-hand Sunday book market.
bought this today at random at a bookstore. came home and realized it's Pooh's birthday. :)
this story broke and then fixed my heart in a matter of pages.
My post up on @bookriot today!
to no one's surprise, I did not follow my own weekend reading plans. Couldn't get into Name of the Wind, so I picked up Exit West. And oh my GOD, so good! 25% in it goes the magic realist path without warning, as we follow Saeed and Nadia in a world taken by storm by immigration.
this is going to be my weekend read, since I've realized it's not meant to be read on the Metro to and from work (almost tripped and fell in my attempt to hold it in one hand)
