Taking it easy, whilst home sick from work. Half-way through this. The first third is pretty average, but the story improves once Diana leaves the island.

I enjoyed this one so much. The art was gorgeous, and the story was gripping enough to keep me going. Made me want to do a full deep dive down into even more Wonder Woman story lines.
I think this is a fantastic place to start for those who saw the movie and want to check out Wonder Woman in the comics, without having to take a deep dive into the DC comics universe .
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's Wonder Woman day lol! Getting some much needed reading in. It's a dreary, rainy day here in East Tennessee, perfect weather to cozy up with a book or 2!
Just bought this one today, and I am genuinely excited to get into it!
Rosie is curious about graphic novels too! Fun fact: I wanted to name her Diana after seeing wonder woman but Rosie the Riveter is better since she was found outside the machine shop on the naval base. #rosietheriveter #wonderwoman #graphicnovel #homelibrary
Stella is keeping me company today while I'm home sick from work. I'm starting this Wonder Woman origin story I've been wanting to read for a while.

Dear second grade kid talking to her parents at the next table -- You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Wonder Woman could easily beat Harry Potter or any of his little friends in a one-on-one fight, and it wouldn't even be close. Contrary opinions are without merit.
Parents! Do your jobs!
I am in awe with this graphic novel. The art, my goddess, the art is amazing! But how could it not when it comes from the same team who created that perfect graphic novel based on The Last Unicorn? Renae de Liz and Ray Dillon are incredible artists.
The story wasn't perfect but I really liked Renae's take on Wonder Woman, especially her true origin. That part moved me to tears.

This is my third Wonder Woman collection in a row 💪💪 Perfect for a Friday night spent hiding from people
This is my first time reading any Wonder Woman 😁

I've always been a fan of the idea of Wonder Woman, but I've never read a Wonder Woman comic. Now that I've been getting into comics and graphic novels (and with the movie out now), I figured it was time. I loved this book, the art and story.
Another month where I read a comic after posting monthly stats. Oh well, this makes 12 read for the month.
I knew very little about Wonder Woman and her origin story before starting this book. It was a great, exciting adventure with gorgeous art and introduced me to some of my favorite new side character (I ❤Etta Candy). Also baby Alfred Pennyworth is in it! #tbrreadathon
I wish I had victory rolls like Etta Candy. #tbrreadathon
Yesterday's #bookandbreakfast was this great Wonder Woman comic (thanks @moranadatter for the recommendation!), scrambled eggs, toast and half a grilled cheese (which the 6yo ended up eating) and Yorkshire Gold with milk.
I really wanted to like this one, but the insistence on the only true joy being having a child irritated me. Beyond that, the story did a great job of mixing classic characters and story lines w/ modern story telling with the glaring excuse of racism. I am glad I didn't buy this one, but if you can read it for free it's a descent way to lose an hour or so. Didn't address the realities of racism at all 😓
I first read WW in the 70s. It was the only superhero comic that interested me (besides the occasional Superman). So I am extraordinarily interested in the movie reboot (which looks awesome) and the DC comics reboot. I loved it. I devoured this book. I can't believe there won't be more. DC needs to get its act together and figure out a working relationship w/Liz so she can do more of these. That's the way I see it.

Happy International Women's Day Littens!
After reading The Secret History of Wonder Woman last year I went on a WW reading binge, and..... I didn't care for most of the arcs I read (and I read several). After taking a long WW break I picked this one up and it is BY FAR my favorite. Of course DC went and canceled it. 😭
There are not a lot options for #characterwhosharesmyname but Wonder Woman is pretty badass! I only recently found out that her real name is Diana Prince and have to admit that I still haven't read any of her comics yet 😳

So excited to have this! I read about half of these on digital copy. Now I can read all of them together! 😍
I was never a comic book kind of reader as a kid, but I'm remedying that right now.
So I know that we are all bookriot followers here but this article http://bookriot.com/2016/12/21/the-legend-of-wonder-womans-cancellation-and-sile... is making me realise just how skewered my graphic novel reading is towards male writers. This is partly because of the fact that a lot of great female character comics are still being done by male authors. This is something I'm going to work on next year. Any suggestions?
I will probably fit another one or two in if things go my way. Pretty happy with this. 😊
