5 things about me (Part One and Two)
1. I fell in love with reading when I read To Kill a Mockingbird in 9th grade English. I adored the book and have read it probably 7 times since then. When Go Set a Watchman was published in 2015 I was completely broke but still bought the book. I ate Mac and cheese for dinner multiple times that week.
2. I have a degree in Political Science and follow current events like it‘s my job.

Pickpick

This book is a little dark, but it was suspenseful and I really got sucked in to the story. I think I read the whole thing in under a week!

Bailedbailed

I stopped reading this book after the chapter where Rachel describes this horrible abusive man that she dated. She then reveals that this man is her husband and that after a breakup he “changed” and now they‘re happy married. As a survivor of domestic violence abuse in any form is NOT okay. Your parter should be your biggest cheerleader and always build you up. Rachel‘s story of his abusive boyfriend changing into a better man is a toxic message.

Ericalambbrown That was too much for me to get past, too, with this book. I skimmed the rest and bailed. Not great advice. At all. 6y
Megabooks You know, I just read they‘re doing a marriage conference together in 2019 🤬 6y
