#currentlyreading “The Sun and Her Flowers” by Rupi Kaur | Lovely edition, very well put together
#currentlyreading “Burial Rites” by Hannah Kent for the #autumnreadathon, which is led by Mercedes from the YouTube channel MercysBookishMusings and goes from Sunday 22nd to Saturday 28th.
Since I won‘t really have time to read, I picked a book that fits almost all the challenges: gothic/spooky + cold location + historical fiction.
Just finished I‘ll Tell You in Person by Chloe Caldwell. I would give it a “meh” honestly, which is a bit disappointing. I feel like with essay collections it always goes this way for me: I‘ll find one or two that I like and then a bunch of “meh” ones.
#currentlyreading The Nix by Nathan Hill. I‘m 10% through the audiobook and I‘m IN LOVE! Such a nice humor and a perfect tone, this is exactly my type of book.
Trying to finishing up “The Alice Network” by Kate Quinn before tomorrow‘s Girly Book Club meeting. I don‘t think I‘ll make it, but that doesn‘t stop me from trying. What are you reading? #currentlyreading #readathon
This is my entry for the @thereadingwomen‘s challenge that pushes us to showcase our favorite books by #women_writers. I titled my composition “Fighting Fall, dreaming for Spring”. Happy reading everyone! #thereadingwomen #readathon
I'm half way through "The Mothers" by Brit Bennett and I marvel at how poetic and yet so easy to read this is. #themothers #britbennett
