Stories change hearts, then hearts change the world.
There used to be This and That, now there is all. Such a colorful simple book about accepting and celebrating differences. Easy enough for toddlers.

Workers' Rights 101. Interesting. After the year we've had it felt like foreshadowing (as Doctorow seems too good at). Curious to see what the future holds for kids and the internet.
Great art, but a flash through their crime career made it hard to root for or jeer anyone.
Hot tea with book against the winter blahs. #ireadya #elvis #hdbelvispresley
It is the obvious which is so difficult to see most of the time. People say 'It's as plain as the nose on your face.' But how much of the nose on your face can you see, unless someone holds a mirror up to you? #nationalsciencefictionday #scifi
If you liked Simon vs the Homo Sapien Agenda, you will love this historical romp through the Regency. It's full of drama, flair, and humor. I would like a stronger ending, but maybe that means a second book.
Visited The Mysterious Bookshop in NYC last week. Bought In A Lonely Place signed by Megan Abbott and Ministry of Fear by Graham Greene. #mystery #bookstore
Having just finished it, I still need time to dissect all the pieces. It was a hard book to read for all the heavy emotions. Flashbacks to happier times were only bittersweet and didn't seem to ease any tension.
Anyone going to Books For The Beast in October? I started a journal for notes.
This is a book EVERYONE should read. The authentic voice breathes life into a hot-button topic.
Cute romance. I'm a little upset that the focus turned more to their dance than Dimple's app. But I liked how they challenged each other to grow. #vacationread
"Numbers are always in a problem." ... "7 is after me," says 6. Private I, "7 is always after you. That's how it goes, 5, 6, 7." (loose quote, but I couldn't help but read this in Bogie's voice.)
Found another Small Press Expo donation to the library. An awesome gift.
Thinking about this sci-fi book that humorously, dramatically focuses on the battle between science and nature. And what is consciousness/conscience? Also a person's place in all the madness. Lots of thoughts = a good book. #bookstagram
Yay for super friends who bring the party to you when you're stuck at work.
Visited Storyville in Woodlawn, MD. There were no pigeons driving the trolley. Even though he said please. #mdlibraries
Do you ever get nervous before starting a new book? #greatexpectations
Enjoyed the quirky twist to classic fairy tales. Loved that I stumbled on library donations from the Small Print Expo. #isupport #smallpress
Definitely makes this era accessible and closes the distance we as a future generation seemed to have put between us and their fight.
Adorable #bookmarks keeping me company.
First book of 2017. My heart missed Adrien and Jake. While no major mystery to solve in this novella, it was great to see my favorite couple settle in their relationship after a long, rocky road. #mystery #romance #firstbookof2017
Learning more about Earle Stanley Gardner was a treat, unfortunately the description of fashion seemed to overshadow to mystery.
