I finished this book a while back, but wanted to review anyway. What a treat this book was! I honestly did not see the twist comming, and the personality of this read was just so unique. Absolutely loved this book, and have loved every read from Neil Gaiman so far.
I've watched a little of the series, but I am excited to read it in its entirety, not to mention I'm pumped to listen to the audio book performed by a full cast!
For a book about the comming of Armageddon, I was not expecting such humor! I was a theology major, so the little snippets on such here and there made me laugh so hard! Also, the narration by Martin Jarvis give the irreverent comedy an even more delightful spin! Loved this book so much, and will be reading it again.
Not going to lie, man. This book is horrifying, and what scared me wasn't what I thought would, but King's exposition of the horrors which reside within the human mind. Beautiful read, and worth the time.
I love anything of Tolkien's. His writing is beautiful and storytelling vivid; this novel did not disappoint. I cried a couple of times due to the enormous amount of death, but quiet of in between was sweet.
Finishing our run of this show today. Will always treasure this show and witty script! @ConstantReader1985
I found this to be beautiful and enlightening, with poetry in every moment.
