Queenie and a martini! The writing is strong and the characters are vivid and lush. I rooted for Queenie the whole way through and loved the ending. Carty-Williams tackles intersectional feminism with prowess and grace. The middle drags a bit, but stick with it!

I think my expectations were too high for this one. I adore both Nick and Megan but “Greatest Love Story” just never quite hits its stride. It feels like they hit record and just started chatting— cute and charming for a chapter or two but ultimately aimless, uninteresting, and kind of oddly condescending. I‘m bummed.
