I'm so stoked to start this! I was at an event the other day that the author was at and he read an extract and it sounds AMAZING!

Not that it didn't sound it before but still! I'm so in the mood for a good fantasy book too!

The review for this is up on my blog! I loved all of the Norse mythology throughout it and the characters where so much fun! It started off a little bit slow and took me a little while to get in to but I ended up being completely hooked!

I'm starting this tomorrow because I literally just finished Battlemage and I need a minute to recover. Seriously. I'm sat there like *bites nails* "he wouldn't really do that...would he?!" Frantically trying to remember if it's a YA or for younger children ?? *breathes* okay. I'm good. Right.

I'm looking forward to starting this one because I've heard nothing but good things! ?

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from this book but whatever it was...it wasn't what the book was! It was even better than I was expecting! I've had my eye on this since 2017!

This book is so freaking atmospheric and vivid it's insane. It fully sucks you in and I was gripped. I read this in one go, and I was just hooked. I loved the historical aspects, the characters where memorable and the storytelling was fantastic!

I know I'm not the first person to say this but I feel like this is actually a good prequel to Jurassic Park!

I found the historical elements and figures fascinating and I breezed through this in a couple of hours!

I am FINALLY starting Battlemage and I am so not prepared. I freaking love this series, it's imaginative and a load of fun and I'm not ready for the end!

I really enjoyed this book! Although there a couple of little things that bugged me. I'm also fairly sure i'm overly salty about a character death 😂

My full review is on my blog but this is a great debut with loads of originality to it! I'm looking forward to book two!

If you like your fantasy gory, brutal, bloody, stabby, and very vivid then this is the read for you!

I got more and more hooked, the pace was snappy, helped along by the short chapters and differing POVs. There's plenty of interesting characters and I'm expecting big things from the sequel!

Thanks to this book I can't look at a hammer in the same way again 😷

I completely loved this, I pretty much read this in two sittings because I couldn't put it down. It's completely brilliant and I'm in desperate need of book two already 😭

I loved the storytelling and writing style, it was vivid and fast paced and kept you hooked until the end! If you love Mulan you'll totally love this, I promise!

Okay so the ending of this completely devastated me but the book was SO GOOD! I devoured it! This series is definitely my favourite after TID! I loved how diverse the characters are and there's plenty of rep, and so many ships and so many questions to be answered and aaaah so good!
