I realise now how many of my books are either black or white 🤔 read most of these a long time ago, but reread the belgariad a few months ago. A brilliant series that helped me get into reading as a kid, so they will always have a place in my heart 💜 The first book was in my post yesterday, but I didn't really think about it then because I was tired from travelling 🚅✈🚗
so-soReading in the sun = fun? Mmpf, well, as I already mentioned somewhat earlier this year, having read the Sonea series 10 years ago, the start of the sequel series didn't convince me much. I needed a lot of time to finish it. It seems like having had a 10 year heavy reading life changes a lot of my personal expectations of writing. Or as ever, could be the German translation.

I've read the The Black Magician Triology and the Ithanian series of Trudi Canavan ten years ago and was pretty excited about them. Now I started the first of the succeeding Traitor Spy Triology and I'm not so sure about my old self anymore. Back then I just started my reading life and was impressed easily I guess. It's so weird how ten years could change our way of looking at something so incredibly. Or maybe it's just a bad translation.
The #magicalcharacter I picked for #magicalmonday is Sonea of the Black Magicians and Traitor Spy trilogy.
This is Ambassador's Mission in the german version. I read the first trilogy in german because I was about 12 and my english wasn't good enough, so I decided to stay with the same language for the second trilogy.
