Was really looking forward to this book as I love Greece but it was abit of a let down. She was just so repetitive it got on my nerves in the end. Did love the parts about Santorini and Rhodes though, as I've been there 🙂

#BackPackEurope #Greece So....having just returned from Greece and feeling a sense of wanderlust I was excited to read this travelogue/ memoir. Ummmm, this was more Eat, Pray, Love than a love letter to Greece 😝aside from some lovely descriptions of Tilos, a tiny Greek Isle, this book was pages full of I did this, and that; I felt lost, sad, happy... I‘m in love, I‘m out of love 🙄This book👎🏼 ☹️Thank God, I have my own memories of Greece💖

#BackpackEurope Time to leave Italy and catch a ferry to Greece as my trip is winding down. From Greece I plan to travel to Turkey and then back to Israel!! It‘s been a great trip but I‘m looking forward to being home @JenP [traveling through books is exhausting] 😜photo was taken at Rome airport a few weeks ago!! And pictured book courtesy of #Hoopla

Kalalalatja I‘m thinking about quitting the challenge 😳 I haven‘t liked most of the books I‘ve read, and it starts to feel like a chore... 7y

mabell I understand @Cinfhen so much on the TBR. But you've hit a lot of countries! 👏 I've been lucky with my choices in books, but so can see how it would feel like a chore if you don't enjoy the stories, @Kalalalatja . Do you have any on your TBR that would match up with countries you'd be traveling to next? 7y

Cinfhen I literally just read the BEST book set in Greece( actually while in Greece) last week but it doesn‘t count @mhillis so now I‘m reading a book I‘m not really excited to read 😝I don‘t want to “quit” but I‘m 💯 heading home @Kalalalatja @Cathythoughts @emilyhaldi and I think I‘m taking a break from these intense challenges. I think a yearly challenge suits me better @mabell but you‘re doing awesome 😎 I‘m loving your posts🙌🏻💕 7y

BarbaraBB I loved the idea of this challenge but it started at a moment that I felt like i was reading too much ‘have to read‘ books instead of ‘want to read‘. A bit too many challenges! 7y

Kalalalatja @mabell Yeah, but I tried reading a few pages of them, and they don‘t really fit my current mood 👎 maybe I‘ll get my motivation back after a little break, but at the moment, I just want to read books I actually want to read @Cinfhen 7y
