Was really looking forward to this book as I love Greece but it was abit of a let down. She was just so repetitive it got on my nerves in the end. Did love the parts about Santorini and Rhodes though, as I've been there 🙂

My next and final destination for my #BackpackEurope trip was #Norway, home sweet home! Nice to be back:) The picture is from one of my hikes this summer ☀️

I finished up my trip reading 'I Curse The River of Time' by Per Petterson. I enjoyed this one, just like all books I have read by Petterson.

All in all a great trip!! Thanks for the fun, everyone!:)
My favourite stay this time was #France with 'The Life Before Us' - beautiful book ❤️

It's been a while since I updated my #BackpackEurope trip, but I have been travelling!! At least literary. In real life, I've been really busy moving, it sure takes time to prepare an apartment for sale!!

Went on to #Iceland after leaving London early in September, and had a beautiful stay with the tagged book. It gave a great picture of Iceland, the beautiful nature and the people in ancient Iceland.

What a sweet novel! I glided through this book and enjoyed every bit. I‘ve been a fan of the 90‘s film for forever, so it was high time I experienced the original.

I finished just in time for the end of #BackpackEurope! This challenge was loads of fun. Thanks again for hosting, @JenP and @BookwormM!

After 3 months traipsing through Europe, Bella and I are saying so long! (Just ignore the snoring, we're pooped!)

Magical! The best word to describe this story of two University of Iowa girls living and working in NY in the summer of 1945.

It was full of moments big and small - the first women to work on the floor of Tiffany, the WWII Pacific surrender, eating at the Automat (oh, how I wish I could have eaten there!), going on dates with midshipmen, seeing the ocean for the first time... Every minute was wonderful, I loved it!

Now on to home!

After my thoroughly enjoyable #BackpackEurope excursion, I flew back to the U.S. of A. for one last stop before heading home - spending a little time in NYC.

What better way to close out my summer trip than hearing Marjorie Hart retell the story of her amazing summer in that fabulous city in 1945. 😍❤️
