And happy Caturday from Leia! She conveniently posed with some Star Wars books.

Mehso-so

This book either should have been two books or it should have been heavily edited down. I liked the importance given to finding a balance between being a Jedi and being a Corsec officer or a pilot or whatever other career someone is suited for. That's always been the only way I can really enjoy Jedi characters. But Corran still really irritates me and since the book wad in first person from his point of view I couldn't fully enjoy the book.

This really should have been two books. I'm about 60% done right now and the whole Jedi Academy arc is done and that should have been the end of this book. The actual process of finding Mirax should have been a sequel. The book is so long as it is, that it could easily be spilt into two decent sized books with separate narrative arcs.

How do I punch a fictional character for being a whiny pain in the ass?

She's doing her job you self-centered idiot!! Why should she wait around at home for you just in case you finally acknowledge her point of view?

I swear Corran is one of the most infuriating "good guy" characters in Star Wars.

Just learned about #TomeTopple so I'm gonna give that a go in between final papers this month. Here's my TBR even if I know I'll probably not get through a third off them. If nothing else, though, I want to power through I, Jedi so I can move on to a Star Wars book I'll actually like.

I finally put the Star Wars books onto the book shelf. I only moved in 8 years ago...
