Listening to this whilst preparing for a huge 3 day weekend on very little sleep. Enjoying Winton's low key, monotonous tone and his very interesting and meaningful, personal stories.

My Audiobook book list today...
Tim Winton is new for me. The Boy Behind the Curtain is a memoir of his childhood and read by Winton himself. I chose this as I recently bought another book of his, The Riders, so his name piqued my curiosity, especially being Australian.
The Secret Life of Cows is very interesting and read by the author herself, Rosamund Young.
Memoirs of a Geisha is fantastic of course, this is my second time after 20 years
What a lovely box of bookish goodies all the way from Australia – thank you so much, @Ciara_Rosey !! Woo hoo! 😍😍😘😘

Just started this on audio 🤘🏽🎧
This recently released memoir was #signed by the author. #ReadJanuary I posted a review of it a few weeks ago. Thanks to @Jeg who gave it to me in our book club Kris Kringle. 😊👍👏.
I received my signed copy of this in our book club Kris Kringle. It's a collection of stories about the author's life and views on a number of issues such as marine conservation. Winton hails from Perth, Western Australia where I live. Many of the places he mentions are familiar and his writing is as always sublime. If you're not already a fan you may find the book a little dry. I loved reading stories about what shaped him as a person and writer.
Tim Winton on Australia's current asylum seeker policies. 😥
Book stacking 😁. Bruce done & Hannah Kent almost complete. What shall I read next? Have just started to use Litsy & think I'm going to have a lot of fun with it.
This is on my #tbr pile. Tim Winton is a national treasure 🇦🇺
It's always exciting to get the latest Tim Winton book...even better when it's signed by the author #booknerdforever
