A mix of the modern day and mythology
Great read about how one woman decluttered her life, slowed down and found love in Paris
When you pick up a memoir, just because and it turns out it‘s related to your research 😍
A beautiful heart wrenching book of love and loss, with beautiful illustrations of native flowers.
Each lace shawl begins and ends the same way - with a circle. Everything is connected with a thread as fine as gossamer, each life affected by what has come before it and what will come after.
A moving story of wartime love and loss, and the keeping of traditions. The story is woven together with many threads, much like the delicate shawls that Kati and her knitting circle create.
"Writing is saying to no one and to everyone the things it is not possible to say to someone. Or rather writing is saying to the no one who may eventually be the reader those things one has no someone to whom to say them. Matters that are so subtle, so personal, so obscure, that I ordinarily can't imagine saying them to the people to who.
Rebecca Solnit ~ The Faraway Nearby
Research reading while hubby is fishing. I enjoyed this book which is a mix of memoir, and commentary on motherhood and autism.
Looking forward to reading this
Winton is a masterful storyteller. I'm still trying to comprehend what I've just finished reading.

There is no doubt that I am a fan of Natasha's writing, her strong female characters who face hardships and obstacles with grace and determination. 5⭐️
Looking forward to the long weekend and reading Estella's story.
I think I enjoyed this - I struggled with Elsa being a nearly eight year old, she seemed so much older than that.

Saturday night G&T with a good book.
Heather Morris told Lale Sokolov's story sensitively with compassion and empathy. The book is dark but full of hope.
I listened to an interview with Heather Morris and knew I had to read this incredible story http://www.abc.net.au/radio/programs/conversations/conversations-heather-morris/...
I struggled with the book but the audio book is more enjoyable
I'm enjoying audio books more than I thought I would! I'm travelling this week for work so I'm seeking your recommendations for great audio books for long drives #audiobooks
So I signed up for Audible and started listening to this on my 5km walk this afternoon...made the time pass much quicker.
Picked this up today, found it interesting that the title is slightly different!
When your cousin sends you her favourite book and other treats 😍
Saw this graphic shared on Facebook, wondering what the Australian statistics are.
This has been recommended so many times, I picked it back up and read it tonight. Not really anything new in this,at least for me.
More memoir than self-help book, it was an interesting read but not quite what I was looking for. I will look up the recommended reading.
Looking forward to reading the final instalment, not loving the idea of the series being finished.
Book 3 of The Raven Cycle was a great improvement on Book 2. I'm now looking forward to reading the last book in the series.
