shadowspeak17 @AshleyHoss820 I just really was not a fan of all the generalizations and some iffy conclusions Cain draws, and to me, it also felt like she painted extroverts in a more negative light a lot of the time which really rubbed me the wrong way. That‘s just me though. A lot of people really like this book, and I was quite surprised I wasn‘t one of them. I hope you end up enjoying it. :-) 5y

AshleyHoss820 @shadowspeak17 Ah!! I married an extrovert & I think sometimes they get the short end of the stick. I think Cain is married to one as well, so that‘s a bit sad! 😄 Thank you for telling me! Once I‘m aware of a possible issue with the book, it helps me either push past it or say, “Yeah, I see that.” And walk away. 😊 Generalizations *can* get tiresome. We‘re not all the same. 5y

so-so

I finished the last book in round 2 of our #texeast #lmpbc! I‘m going to miss reading the awesome comments of @parttimedomestic @bookish_wookish and @shadowspeak17 💜

That said, I didn‘t like this book. Annoying characters, weirdly done plot points, and just the whole world they inhabited seemed bleak. A particularly emphatic thumbs down to the mother in the book, who I wanted to throttle. Can‘t recommend this one.

I'm seeing some Littens mentioning that there's some various kinks they're experiencing with the app update. In case anyone hasn't seen the info from Tim yet: ☝🏻.

MrBook The new app had a few motivations. 1. We had to transfer the apps from its old owners to LibraryThing. (Unfortunately, that change of necessity invalidates keys, focing users to log in again.) 2. We had to get rid of an unnecessary, and large, software library that was coming due for an expensive license renewal. 3. This was a dry run for an *improved* app. 6y

TheBookHippie Mine went crazy- but they answered email immediately- so very kind. I had to shut off phone update log in log out ...phew ..blank went away 6y
