Until I Met Her
Until I Met Her | Natalie Barelli
2 posts | 8 read | 9 to read
She should never have said 'yes'... When Beatrice said she wanted to publish her next novel under Emma's name, Emma thought she was joking. Why on earth would Beatrice, the famous crime writer, not want to publish her new book under her own name?Precisely because she was so famous, Beatrice had explained. This time, Beatrice wanted to write something different, and publish it as an unknown author, and she wanted Emma to help. After everything Beatrice had done for her, Emma could hardly refuse. But what was meant to be a favor has turned into a betrayal, and now Emma has done something terrible, something shocking, and the consequences are terrifying...A twisted, gripping psychological thriller perfect for fans of Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train.

Pickpick

I adored this ARC! When Emma is befriended by her favorite author, she can't believe her good luck as she is drawn into the older woman's circle of literary friends. But she has no idea what a dark world awaits as she is forced into rash actions she has no idea she is capable of; this sets her on a course of no return. Brutal and deftly written, this left me breathless! Thanks to NetGalley. Due out July 13

Zelma Wow, that sounds really interesting! 7y
Alfoster @Zelma Seriously, I had NO idea where it was going but it left me with chills (in a good way)! 7y
Zelma @Alfoster how brutal is it? I am not usually one for thrillers but this sounds intriguing. However, really visceral violence is not my thing either. 7y
Alfoster @Zelma Well, there is violence but I want to say it's kind of expected and not in a gangland-slaying kind of way. Really, I'm not a psycho and I just liked how I had no clue where it was going. Let me know if you read it and like it! 7y
Zelma @Alfoster will do! 7y
