Insomnia as an epidemic. Sleep becomes the most valuable commodity anyone has but also the most dangerous.
I think these need to come home with me. Never enough time to read, but when has that EVER mattered? 🙃
Finally got home from like the longest day at work ever and got to open my wonderful package from @pogue!!! Thank you so so so so much! You are just the sweetest litten ever! The books are fantastic (I'm especially excited for The Ivory and the Horn), the hit chocolate looks delish, the tote is super adorable, and the handmade hat is so freaking beautiful! :-) I love it all! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ♡♡♡ #litsytotebagswap @cobwebmoth
Not great. It sounded interesting but I struggled to get through to the end.
I picked it up for the cover and bought it for the intriguing summary. #moon #uncannyoctober
Really good, but grim and brutal. Not entirely sure how I feel about it.
Spending my Friday night reading and journaling. What's new? I honestly only chose this book because of the name and cover. It looks good though! The Dollar Store has upped its book game lately.
Society collapses due to an epidemic of ceaseless insomnia. People are provoked by the few who are immune. If they witness a person sleeping they become violent & will try to murder them. Very beautifully written. The narrative is compelling and the characters well written. Calhoun convincingly creates the physical anxiety and mentally disorienting experience of insomnia. If you enjoyed Josh Malerman's "Bird Box," then I definitely recommend.

When you only have ten minutes left to read 40 pages before leaving to meet family.
Plans for the evening.
How fitting that this book about an insomnia apocalypse (insomniapocalypse?) kept me up past my bedtime last night
Ok - I haven't read this book, but I just found out that we are having a black moon tonight. What a great way to start #scaretober!
