I wonder if I can find a library source for these in the original language—it would be a great way to practice my french.
My library extended patrons' Overdrive limit from ten titles to twenty. Hurray! This'll make it a lot easier for me to poke around the Canada Reads long list and plan out my upcoming audiobooks.
It turns out digital comics work in Libby, too. I always used to have to read them in my browser, which I hate doing, so that's a major plus. Good changes, library!
pickThe first book in the Valerian and Laureline series transports them to New York City in 1986 after it‘s submerged from an industrial accident. (The book was written in 1967.) At times, it is a bit dated and it‘s story structure is definitely from another era, but still it‘s a fun adventure.
