Starting this today!
This is a five star nugget of a book. I read it in an afternoon and enjoyed every word. Norwich writes for a female protagonist very well. I‘ll miss spending time with Mrs. Brown.

What a beautiful, delightful book. I absolutely love Mrs. Brown, and I will never forget her.
"If she was a scent, she was tea with honey, but if she was a color, she was a study in gray."
Got a new, special edition library card, and checked this book out.
I wasn't planning on any of it, but I am excited!
Another one finished for #LitsyAtoZ! This book is a fairly quick read. It's heartwarming without being too predictable or treacly. Follow Mrs. Brown in her quest for the perfect dress; reflect on the extended metaphor about dignity and dreams. I would have liked to get more from some of the minor players, but overall this is a good palate cleansing read, if you need one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a beautiful story this was. I really connected with Mrs. Brown, what a great character. I know she's one that I won't forget. I had to get out the tissues for happy tears. Then, I had to get them out again for sad tears.
My afternoon read.
After reading this book, I have a renewed faith in the importance of manners, graciousness & personal interaction.
Read it read it read it!!! Touching , poignant lovely. Refreshing
"She'd get her hair done, paint her face, put on her best dress, and show the bastards you can't keep a good woman down."
This is a lovely wonderful story.I fell in love with My Mrs.Brown&her quest for a dreamy dress. An adult fairy tale💕🌺
This book was adorable. The author knows old ladies and fashion. A very comfortable read.
The transformative power of the perfect dress. Sounds like a delightful story of an unassuming woman who is willing to cross an ocean to explore New York's fashion world.
