Talia and the Haman-Tushies | 
Today is Purim, a Jewish holiday that commemorates the salvation of the Jewish people in ancient Persia from Haman‘s plot “to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in a single day,” as recorded in the Book of Esther. Tradition is to eat three cornered pastries to symbolize the hat the evil Haman wore and to remember the bravery of Queen Esther who foiled Haman's plot.
