currently reading this beauty of a book and i really like it so far. 🐒
Happy New Year's Eve! Before welcoming 2017 I wanted to highlight my two favorite books of the year. London Belongs to Us is a wonderful teen contemporary that is deceptively simple. On the surface it's about a night-long adventure across London but along the way it highlights inherent racism still prevalent in the modern day city.

(The lights in the picture weren't super successful but my creativity is drained so 🙃.)
When you're just about to post your review and Litsy crashes and you no longer have the brain power to re-type the review. Wah, wah. 😳😱😖
Sum: Teens living life, battling racism and sexism and homophobia along the way. Timely! #recommendsday

This book might just be the best bookish thing that has happened to me in the last few months. I am IN LOVE. Part my mood, part Sarra Manning and her writing. I'm in the home stretch and looking forward to the end of my work day when I can savor the last few pages. 😻❤️❣️
Wonderful book, London is the main character for me. One girl, two Frenchman and a broom! Sweet, entertaining, giggle inducing read. Just what this soul needed
Have had the worst flu all week and haven't been able to read, hoping I can finally focus
*4.5 stars*
Completely and utterly loved it. Not just a love letter to London, but to friends and people and embracing yourself. Plus, there were cameos from Jeane from Adorkable and Molly from Guitar Girl - I love it when authors do that!
