#Recommendsday request! I am hoping to travel to South Korea sometime in the next year or two, and of course want to read up before I go. Anyone have any book recommendations to do with Korea? I‘m specifically looking for history, but happy to branch out to other genres.

Andrew65 This is such a brilliant series. Brilliantly written and with great lead characters, I think they only get better as you work through the series. I‘ve finished 9 of the 12 books. Thoroughly recommend this series but just a warning the murder methods are quite grissly! Well done 👏👏👏 (edited) 13mo

wanderinglynn Only 1?!? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Well, if I have to, I guess I‘d go with a story that‘s timeless yet enigmatic, a story that‘s versatile with both optimistic and pessimistic commentary on the future, a story that touches on friendship, love, technological progress, consumption, and ecology, and a story that asks fundamental questions about our existence.
