The Inexplicable Logic of My Life | Benjamin Alire Saenz

I listened to this because I remember loving Aristotle and Dante a couple years ago. This was just as good!

It‘s the story of Sal, a senior in high school, and his two best friends and his dad. It‘s a story of being an adopted kid trying to decide if you‘d want to know your birth parent. It‘s a story of adolescent anger. It‘s a story of knowing that a loved one is dying of cancer. And it‘s beautifully told.

CoffeeNBooks I loved Aristotle and Dante, and I loved this one even more! Such a great book! 9h

What a wonderful story! It was beautifully written absolutely captivating from the start. This book tells the life story of a unique, special individual from the perspective of others who he encounters throughout his life. It is part fairytale, part love story, part adventure. This one is in my top 5 favorite books I‘ve read all year. 📸US Botanic Garden, Nov 2019 #recommendsday #nature #magical #wolf #botm #ruthemmielong #nonlinearnarrative

Why did I take so long to read this? Because I knew it would be heart breaking and make me cry, and it did. A beautiful epic story of two women who were each heroes of WW2 in their own way. I highly recommend! I now want to read more true stories of these women. Excellent audiobook production as well. #recommendsday

TheBookStacker If you haven‘t already read The Alice Network I recommend that as it‘s based on true events and real life women during World War II 2w

Nothing More Dangerous by Allen Eskens is on sale 11.12.19 and I devoured it this past weekend, thanks to an #arc from #netgalley and #mulhollandbooks

A well-written story of the summer of 1976 when a white teenage boy is awakened to the racial and social tensions in his small Missouri town.

This is going to be a fantastic story for college literature classes and book clubs to discuss!

There was a cover reveal for this amazing high school lesbian witch book today, and I'm completely in love! An amazing tattoo artist as the cover artist, and such a fun start to a new series.

Who knew that balancing human interaction with supernatural peril could be so complicated?

This is my favorite book of the year so far. The beginning of a new epic adventure fantasy romance series. It is set in the same world as Aiken‘s dragon series, but it is not necessary to have read them. The story follows a farming/blacksmithing peasant family and their madcap journey falling into leadership and villainy. It is exciting and funny and pure fun. I highly recommend! #recommendsday #romantsy
