#Julytbr I actually read (or tried to) everything on this tbr. AS king and Sloppy firsts were all library books that I didn‘t get into and have been returned. And I ended up keeping wicked fox and will probably try again next week.

Mehso-so

I enjoyed this book for the quirky cast of characters that we meet individually and find out later how their lives are intertwined. While most of the main plot issues are resolved, it left me hanging on some important points and while the characters are interesting I didn't feel completely invested in their story.

I was with my very best friend when she bought this when we were teenagers. She bought it purely because July 7th is her birthday. I don't know if she ever read it but it somehow ended up in my book storage in my parent's attic until earlier this year. Seems appropriate to read. It's only been about 14 years!
