#1993. Through several moves, many of my childhood books were lost. This one is special. This one has my deceased grandma's handwriting in it wishing me "Merry Christmas". I treasure it. ❤️ This lady bought me chapter books before I could read. She challenged my reading and I wouldn't be the reader I am without her influence.

Jess_Read_This @Texreader Thank you! I had to argue with my first grade teacher that I read Laura Ingalls Wilder Little House on The Prairie. It took me reading aloud a chapter to her to convince her. It's bc of my grandma who had me read it to her and worked through harder words with me. I marvel at her patience! I was a lucky kid. ❤️❤️❤️ 8y
