Riveting robot adventure continues - I love the developed cast of characters and their intersecting quests, can't wait to see how it ends!

#SeriesRead2022 @TheSpineView

This is still one of my favorite graphic novel series. The artwork is perfect for the story and Lemire continues to impress me with his writing.

TheSpineView Awesome! 2y
Kenyazero The art style is one of the top reasons I constantly recommend this series to people! 2y

If you want a graphic novel with rainbows and unicorns, do not read this book. If you are looking for a story about robots/humans/aliens in space trying to determine whether to kill or not kill, read this gorgeous book.

4/5⭐ Good plot progression; I can definitely feel everything slowly coming to a head and building great tension. The artwork continues to be lovely. Chapter 1 was especially mindblowing with the juxtaposition of the three different character/location focuses. The chapter is especially an accomplishment given how little dialogue there is. A perfect example of how powerful and meaningful well-done art can be.

This series is amazing! Jeff Lemire is such a talented storyteller and world-builder. And Justin Nguyen's watercolor art is beautiful. I love the organic look that the watercolors give to the machines and the tech. Just an overall amazing sci-fi comic series. Highly, highly recommended!

I adore this series for the lovely watercolor art and the great plot. This volume had a better balance of plot and character development than Vol 3 did. And slowly the separate story lines are coming together so I can't wait to see what happens next.

Jokila Squeeeee it's out!!! *runs on fire to nearest comic shop* 7y
BooksAtNight @Jokila I dropped everything for this volume since the last one ended on a cliffhanger. This one does too so now I'm biting my nails! I got a digital copy to read through Hoopla while I wait for the physical one to come in. 7y
Jokila Glad to hear this one has more plot than the last arc! 7y

Descender vol 4 is finally available for order. I'm so excited 👍 Sadly, I will have to wait until I return from the wedding in Hawai'i before I can place the order 😆

Other comic installments to come:
Monstress vol 2 in less than a week 👍
Papergirls vol 3 in about a month 👍

It's about time 😁😁😁
