Goal for the weekend-

To make it through some of my bookriot TBR selections. Book 1 is this one. I wasn‘t sure based on the reviews, but I‘m 50 pages in and very very intrigued.

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends! 🦃

We will spend almost the entire weekend at home so plenty of reading time for me. 😊

Ashley_Nicoletto @mcipher I was hesitant after reading the good reads reviews, but I‘m 130 pages in and it‘s amazing. What were those people thinking?! 🤣 2mo

Looks like I‘ll be reading my picks this weekend. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Why do I do this to myself?

On the train to meet my husband in New York - we‘re going to the Met! I bailed on the CT Litsy meetup for this... 😳 But we never go to the city so I had to grab the chance.
This book is bonkers - weird and so very funny and full of great lines, some poignant and smart and many hilarious. I love it so much so far! I don‘t know why I haven‘t heard more about it because it‘s fabulous.

Occasionally, a book comes along...it immediately grabs you by the hand and whispers in your ear, "I've been waiting for you." This is one of those books. Happy Saturday! ???

I came for my hold for the Haunting of Hill House for bookclub. I found the other books on displays. Library, you win again. #libraryhaul #bookaddict #librarydisplaysgetmeeverytime

It's 2.30 am and I just gulped down 70% of this in about an hour and a quarter. I've no clear idea what I think of it except that, were my dissertation finished, I would finish it tonight. That tells you something, right?

I've wanted to read this book since I first saw it on Goodreads a while back but it wasn't yet available in the US. I was recently approved for the DRC from Edelweiss (yay!) and I'm really enjoying it so far. It's a little strange and not exactly what I expected but the writing is superb. I'm currently 32% in and I've highlighted more so far than in any other book I've ever read. So many great quotes! 💖

This was a really weird book. It wasn't really my cup of tea, but I think people who are more into the funky stuff might enjoy it
