The conclusion to this series has its ups and downs. It was tied up sweeter than I expected from a Ward book, but it still had the emotional angst that I love from her. No spoilers (on this years old book š‰) but I really want more Devina and hope we see her again. Also, I‘m way behind on Ward books so some of you may already know if we do š‚

Ok Littens. I've vented to my bf but he just doesn't get it. You will. I ordered some swap books the other day and got one for myself. Swap books are fine. THIS is what my book looks like. I didnt order from a used bookstore. This is from Indigo. Am I the only one that expects a NEW book when I order from a bookstore? Also, those stickers? Neither price is what I paid. Any other Littens have this issue from Indigo?

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego That's not good. You should maybe call it go into a store. Either get a new book, or insist on only paying the $3 the book is priced at, and get a refund. 6y

Samplergal That‘s ridiculous. Ask for a total refund. Somebody goofed up and you shouldn‘t have to pay top prices for that. 6y

I don't mind used books, but only when I know they are used. Just upset because I've been buying from them for so many years and I would never expect this from that company. š£ 6y

Samplergal Good. You have a right to what you pay for. I buy goodwill books and ThriftBooks all the time. But paying $25 for a new one, I expect to get just that. Good luck. 6y

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego @FantasyChick that's totally fair! I try not order from them any more. I only buy if it's there. I've had friends who have had issues before. It's bad cuz it's our national bookstore. They should be better. All the more reason to shop at independent book stores. 6y

CSeydel Yeah does this seller offer both new and used books? Let‘s hope it was just an error, and they will gladly offer you a replacement or a refund. Especially if you have been ordering from them a long time, you could try to give them the benefit of the doubt. I can see why you are distressed! That‘s clearly NOT what you should have received 6y

FantasyChick @CSeydel No they don't offer used. I looked at the stamp on the inside cover, it's from NY Public Library. Indigo is a Canadian bookstore. I'm not sure what happened here but I'm requesting a replacement. 6y

Leftcoastzen That‘s way bad ! Replacement or refund is in order.Amazon sent me a new book that was water damaged.So water damaged it was wavy!I had to accept refund because there was not a replacement.wheres the quality control these days! 6y

The room is a mess, I have lots of laundry to do and books to finish yet I had to make a stop at my local used bookstore for a few books that I wanted so badly. And guess what? I found out my library will be having a huge sale on used books in a couple of weeks! š²š² I shouldn't but who cares šš
