Sad the series is done, but I also think some of the plot lines started to run dry so it‘s probably for the best. Going to check out the Fairest off shoot. Lots of loose ends tied up, all ended well between Rose and Snow. A lot of twists for the cubs‘ futures.

Storylines with war are not as interesting to me, and I was happy with how this ended. I enjoyed the wrap ups for many of the characters, particularly for Snow and Bigby‘s cubs/kids. There was one text section in the middle, then more wrap-up text at the end by the author, which I quite enjoyed. Cont in comments...

LibraryCin As always, illustrations are quite nice and I‘ve always loved the extra touch of the borders. The cover actually folds out and includes many (all?) characters in the series. One of the extras at the end of the book is the “key” that shows you who is who on the cover. There is also an additional 4 page fold-out close to the end of the book. 5y

Sigh... It's been a great run and series and I'm sad to see it go. I didn't review each and every book in the series because it would've sounded the same each time. That I love the book, the story, the characters, etc. This book made me sad for all the reasons why I'm sad when I finish a good book, show, movie, etc. All good things must come to an end but at least I get to read some of the one-offs that have floated around out there.

So sad this series is over - but I still have Fairest and some of the side books to read. Curious to see how Wolf Among Us holds up since it's not the original author's work. Bittersweet ending. 😭

Snowed in here in Chicago, so hubby and I are doing the only thing you can do: stay in your PJs and read all day ❤️📚Read all 149 issues of Fables and am about to dive in to the final issue which is an extended Graphic Novel sized issue. Dying to know what happens but don't want this to end either. The great book lovers dilemma.

So sad to see this series end. It was my introduction to graphic novels and such a fantastic ride. These last two volumes are not all that I wished they were but I'm so in live with this series I give it a pass. So a HUGE pick for the series and a so-so for these two.
