I broke my book buying ban to shop my independent book stores sale this past week and for some mental health moments and caught up with my favorite bookseller. Bought all queer lit and mostly middle grade lit to donate when I‘m done to my new library! So excited for August but first I need to move… these are already packed but I got one pretty pic before!
I‘ve been writing up a storm #litsylove friends and will send these out next week with my new address starting July 1st (hopefully, if we ever set a closing date 😅) I feel like buying a house has been quite the experience. Everyone tells me how lucky and easy this has been and I‘m like why does it feel chaotic and crazy then? 🤣😂 also try not to quit your job in the middle of buying a house… lesson learned but had to be done lol.
My last queer graphic novel recommendation post for Pride Month! All of these are wonderful and I believe appropriate for middle grades. I love seeing so many new books coming out featuring so many characters and such diversity in graphic literature!
Blue is today‘s color and full of some great YA graphic novels. Cheer Up especially surprised me since I don‘t usually LOVE cheerleading books but this one was simply amazing not only for queer themes but body positive ones as well. Such a great book as were the rest of these ones.
Green today on my rainbow of sharing great Pride Graphic novels. The one tagged is an ongoing manga series and the rest are standalones.
Another round up of awesome Pride graphic novels! Have you read any of these?
Here are some pride themed graphic novels I would recommend, I‘ll be sharing more over the next few days ❤️🌈 #graphicnovel

I did pretty good in May I found a house and a job and started to eat better but I need to work on keeping up with my exercises.
My focus this month is surviving the stress of moving and closing.
I read 43 books last month in May and had so many good reads but some huge standouts were as follows:
Not Your Sidekick
Wolfsong
Peter Darling
The Hourglass Throne
Phoenix Extravagant
the Book of Night
Delilah Green Doesn‘t Care
Darius the Great Deserves Better
Graphic novels/Manga
The All Nighter
Komi Can‘t Communicate v 1
The Elle‘s
What a great month of reading so many books made an impact on me!
Well beyond moving which is it‘s own adventure, I can officially say I‘m now going to be a Middle School Librarian next year and so excited for this new role in a district that seems so amazing! It felt good to a resign from a job that has drained my mental health the past few years and move on to newer and better things. ❤️
So sorry #litsylove friends I‘ve been a bit unresponsive and piling up letters this month as I figure out closing dates and interviewing for new jobs and just being crazy in general. This is what most of my rooms looks like, half filled with boxes now. We move at the end of June so I‘ll hopefully catch up and send the new address out then! Should hear officially about my new job soon 😊 had two great interviews.
Had a great reading day Sunday, needed to decompress from Saturday and just sat and dug into some great graphic novels and finished one of my cozy books on audio. #marvellousmay @Andrew65
I‘ll definitely need to be reading next week so I‘m glad for this @Andrew65
I‘ll be finishing up my cozy series I tagged here and then I have no clue I‘ve been mood reading all month.
I have a life celebration for my neighbor who passed from COVID a few months ago on Saturday and then hoping to read a lot to keep my mind happy as I also wait for call backs for interviews I had this week.
#marvellousmay
#litsylove friends there is a #LitsyLoveSummerSwap going on hosted by @rsteve388 and @Kdgordon88 see the doc below to sign up!!!

The Hanged Man
Across a Field of Starlight
This Poison Heart
Throne breakers
And rereading Heartstopper v1 & 2
I read a ton of good books and my mood reading is really working for me!

I did really good in April, I‘m surprised - I did gain weight but for all my goals I‘m really feeling like mental health and pain I‘m getting things in order. I‘d like to keep motivated about jobs and moving and just keep up while adding some healthier foods to my diet.
Forgot to post my May #bookspin #bookspinbingo list almost! Got so caught up in my April reads!
@TheAromaofBooks
Starting my #readathon #deweyapril off with some coffee and a sweet breakfast as I start a graphic novel.
My TBR for #deweyapril #readathon is anyone else participating?
Seriously love the book to tv adaptation so much and the sister… spot on 🤣.
Hoping to get some good news about closing dates soon so slowly packing and going through stuff this month! Started last month but want to up it as we get closer!

@wanderinglynn
Well I only missed two books last month from my list so I did pretty good and I finished both my #bookspin and #doublespin reads! Hoping to work on my April bingo board today ❤️ #bookspinbingo
@TheAromaofBooks
I read 34 books in March and some were quite chunky! My fave was definitely the Night Angel Trilogy - I highly suggest the full cast that Hoopla offers in two parts. Probably my next fave was Artemis such a cool sci fi book and then the Poppy War books and Last Night at the Telegraph Club.
I‘ve decided to officially give up on Maas after reading the disaster that is ACOSF.
Here‘s my list for April‘s #bookspin #bookspinbingo hoping I get to them all this month! @TheAromaofBooks
Thanks @Andrew65 for hosting another wonderful #20in4 #readathon I plan to read a lot as my husband works this weekend and it seems to be gloomy here in the Midwest!
I‘m hoping to listen to a lot of audio and maybe get to my stack of graphic novels! ❤️
I‘m a little behind posting this. I managed a few bingos and both my #bookspin and #doublespin in February. Pretty good for a crazy month!
#bookspinbingo
@TheAromaofBooks
My March Goals are a bit different as I‘m on a leave from work and hoping to get organized for our move in a few months and I feel like I‘ll get back to my sweets goal in the summer once all that is done. Now that I can move more I want to do more.

Pretty sure I missed a book in this image 😅. I read 36 books in February. Pretty good with all that was going on, a good mix of graphic novels and audiobooks.
Standouts this month include: She who became the sun, Crownchasers, Winter‘s Orbit, If We Were Villains, and Life of Melody
See any of your favorites?
I made a hard choice this past month and I took a leave of absence from my job starting today. It‘s been a rough school year and I have the time to do it. There were tears and I‘ll miss it, but it‘s time to heal from all that has happened. I‘ll be using my time to read and catch up on my #litsylove letters and my other challenges.
My March list. I‘ll be off this whole month so I added some chunky books to my list! #bookspin #bookspinbingo
@TheAromaofBooks
Working on the tagged book for #sharreadathon one of our #litsylove members that sadly passed on to honor her memory. @sharread
Thank you so much @Pageturner1 for the awesome swap package! The books are awesome and I cannot wait to wear the socks and use my new booksmarks and indulge in some sugar! I survived the day at work! #litsylovevalentineswap @rsteve388 #litsylove
For my #weekendreading I‘m starting with Kingdom of the Cursed and then hoping to finish Winter‘s Orbit! ❤️
I have a lot of books I‘d love to read coming up but definitely those two!
@Andrew65
Someone sent me a pretty book maybe from #litsylove but no note and just on a day I needed it.
I had to take Monday off due to stress from last week. We had a new student who melted down for nearly two hours in my space and I couldn‘t face the aftermath on Monday. I‘m glad I‘m seeing a therapist this year, it‘s been the best for my health.
1. All of the above but I‘ll take any. Usually I don‘t get books but I‘ll get chocolate and flowers.
2. I‘m just recommending my tagged book Traitor‘s Blade it‘s a bromance that will make you laugh and anyone can enjoy it.

Thanks @Pageturner1 for the tag! @TheSpineView

Bingo blackout for January! I‘m so proud! I finished both my #bookspin and #doublespin and my whole list. Hope I can keep it up for February! @TheAromaofBooks #bookspinbingo
I did pretty good in January and I have some new goals for February.
I want to cut back on my sweets, work on family connections, we had a loss in January that made me feel like we need to connect more. I‘m starting by attending my niece‘s musical tonight.
I‘m taking new medicine and have an apt to check in next week. Continuing my PT and reading 35 or more books.
#bfc2022 @wanderinglynn
Well I found my way to survive 2022 chaos and that‘s just read more 🤣. I read 63 books and had a lot of fun reading some shorter sillier books mixed in with some more serious books.
My standouts for the month were:
Iron Widow
Tidesong
This Is Ever After
Heartstopper v 4
Once Upon a Broken Heart
Beasts and Beauty
How was your January for reading?
Thanks @Professional_Book_Dragon for the #litsylove care package I definitely need as much help as possible lately. 🥰
Gah I forgot to post this! Thanks @Gissy for this lovely #littlechristmasswap package! I can‘t wait to read this book and I love all the extra goodies and chocolate! @bookish_wookish
I started off the month with 9 days off for Winter Break and then I gave myself a 5 day weekend because being at work for 3 days was so stressful with Covid, student behaviors and the loss of a coworker 💔. I‘ve been hiding in my books, between that, a supportive husband and therapy I‘m hoping to make it through the month.
It‘s been a bit of a week and I canceled my plans this weekend so a perfect time to start on my reading goals for #joyousjanuary #readathon @Andrew65
Hoping to finish 6-7 audiobooks this week, my kindle book and maybe 5 print books. I‘m off Monday so we‘ll see what I get done.
Starting with Skin of the Sea by Natasha Bowen
