After my daughter and I binge watched the entire Little House on the Prairie series we moved on to the Waltons which we also enjoyed immensely. So naturally I had to read Spencer‘s Mountain on which the Waltons is loosely based. This book was also a delight, surprisingly funny and even a bit racy. It was fun to spend some more time with characters I‘ve grown to love.

People are coming up with all sorts of profound ideas for today‘s #LilithJuly prompt, and I‘m just think #DontDreamItsOver was a song by Crowded House, and the Waltons sure lived in a crowded house 😂 The TV series was based on the tagged book.

Horrible day off, so I‘m in my pajamas, waiting on my tea with lemon and honey to be done steeping, and taking a trip to Schuyler, Virginia without leaving my couch. Time to disappear for a while.
