This was a seriously cool horror story, with lots of scares, gore and 'ick' moments, I loved it. It did feel a little slow in places but the action made up for it.
4⭐'s. This was a very interesting book. It was creepy enough that I enjoyed it. I liked the humor in it, especially anything Arkle had to say.
The plot is not really clear it seems more about school life than a sacrifice box the character's aren't relatable they're kind of just stereotypes
Goodreads said this book was a mixture of stranger things and all the 80s greats, so you know I had to grab it.

Now that it‘s September, I‘m decorating for Halloween. I don‘t care that I‘m sill living in 100+ degree weather, I‘m breaking out the pumpkins and my favorite nostalgic Halloween classics. I held out as long as I could. 🎃
I picked up a couple supernatural YA books yesterday. I have really high hopes for The Sacrifice Box. I love the 80s style cover art and the synopsis is giving me some classic Stephen King vibes. 👻
