pickI prefer to read these as individual issues, because I love the back content of articles & discussions, but Hoopla has the complied volume so I‘m finishing up this run that way. I really liked these shorts set in the Bitch Planet world, and I especially liked the branching out we got in stories to include some related intersectional topics like me too, police profiling, race appropriation, dysmorphia/unrealistic beauty standards, and other issues.
pickRather a good collection of stories here - hopefully it‘ll tide me over until the next volume comes out (whenever that is!)

There were enough solid stories in here that I'm marking this a Pick, but there were also quite a few that I felt were too short to pack the punch their creators intended. If you already like BITCH PLANET, you do want to read this, but if you're new to this world start with the core series instead. #comics
Last weekend's library haul. I'm bummed they don't own Green Arrow Vol 2, but the comic dates from an era where creators didn't expect readers to have access to every single issue so I'm sure I'll follow along just fine. #comics
pickLike most collections, the quality is uneven amongst the contributors. But, it was a fascinating view into the scary (hopefully not a portent to come) world of Bitch Planet, from the ground. An origin story would be welcome.
pickThis collection is set in the Bitch Planet universe but does not advance the main story. Instead we get several vignettes that world build. I'll admit it took a while to understand this world when I first started reading this series. These short episodes give me a better understanding of the BPverse. This collection is smart & made me say "DAYUM!" & "OH SHIT!" If your resistance book club is looking for a provocative & fun read, this is it.

pickEvery single story is good. I liked how each one gave a little more insight into that world. It hard to pick a favorite, but the one that sticks out in my mind the most is called Basic B&$%#. #bitchplanet #kellysuedeconnick #valentinedelandro #triplefeature
pickThese short vignettes are filled with the satirical social commentary you expect from Bitch Planet. Of course, I liked some more than others, but overall this was great fun.
