Where did September go?! Lots that I liked this month but not too much that I loved. I think I might have wasted too much patience on Ulysses! 🙈

I read The Last September in three big gulps. It hit a lot of my reading buttons: angsty love, propulsive suspense, beautiful writing. The narrative starts with the death of Brett's husband and then travels back to trace the beginnings of their relationship. This is a love story which reads like a thriller. So good.
I can't put this book down !!!! I love that about a book.
Time to get going on my book club read. Anyone else read it?

It's the perfect time to read THE LAST SEPTEMBER (yes, now in paperback) by Nina de Gramont.
Several new books arrived this week. I loved The Last September, set on Cape Cod and a story that kept me guessing!
pickThis book was nothing like I expected, but I loved it. The characters were so real and it was very emotionally raw. Still not sure how I feel about the end, but I really enjoyed it overall.
I'm flying through this novel. The characters are so intoxicating. #fridayreads
I was wait listed at the library for months, finally got it in and they only gave me 7 days to read it. Wish me luck. Come Wednesday, I might run out of time and have to add it to my Did Not Finish stack if such a thing exists.
