The book I just finished is from a #femaleauthor . This was a light read. It is about a young woman in Scotland pre-, during and post WWll. Sort of a gentle ghost story. Entertaining and a quick read but it likely won‘t stick with me. #ReadingResolutions @Jess7

I know I read this in 2004 but I don't remember the first thing about it. But it definitely has a #floating woman on the cover. #junebookbugs

A beautifully written literary fairy tale / ghost story. This is the first book I have read by Margot Livesey but it definitely won't be the last. I am still recovering from the ending...so sad but beautiful at the same time.

Part ghost story, part fairy tale, part coming of age story, this wee book (set in Scotland) weaves threads of wonder into your imagination. Eva moved my soul!
